Landmark Hospitality has acquired the Princeton Farmhouse catering facility project at 328 Carter Road in Hopewell Township. The company aims to transform the yet-to-be-built venue into a distinctive event space, as confirmed by Barry Bielat of Bielat Santore & Co.
MercerMe reported in 2016 that Princeton Farmhouse LLC initially obtained Township approval to convert the 25,000-square-foot farmhouse into a catering venue suitable for weddings, corporate parties, and other events. Despite obtaining approvals in 2022, the renovation plans did not progress further, leaving the property undeveloped.
The facility was envisioned as a modern barn-style venue blending the charm of the original 1830 farmhouse with contemporary elements such as reclaimed wood, fieldstone walkways, and a distinctive indoor-outdoor fireplace opening onto a 1,700-square-foot deck. Landmark Hospitality aims to fulfill this vision and add guest rooms to the facility.
