This weekend, head on over to Titusville for the Grand Opening of the Titusville Tabletop Games Store at 1460 River Rd (Rt 29), Titusville. Owner Robert Thompson, one of the nicest guys in the history of nice guys is excited to share his vision of a place “where you can play your new, favorite game with some great friends you’ve just met.” He says that the Game Store will make that happen by curating a selection of board games focused on generating fun, and offering a cozy play space with large, game ready tables, comfy chairs, and an atmosphere that focuses on the journey.
He adds: “We have an in-house game library which you are welcome to browse, pick a game, grab an empty table, and sit down to play. We can help you set it up, and we can teach you how to play. Need another player or four? We can help you with that, too.”
While you are in Titusville, be sure to peruse the offerings at the annual neighborhood Yard Sale on River Drive, which benefits Titusville’s annual 4th of July parade. The sale will be open Saturday, May 4, 8am – 2pm.
If you don’t find enough vintage curios in Titusville, head on over to Pennington, where another giant yard sale will be in session. It also will take place on May 4 and the hours are 9am to 2pm, rain or shine. This community-wide sale is presented by the Pennington Borough Economic Development Commission who remind shoppers to bring your reusable bags.
