Over 100 Firefighters Team Up for Drill at Janssen Complex

by Mike Chipowsky

Last week, several local fire departments including the Union Fire Company, Pennington Fire Company, Hopewell Fire Department, Lambertville Fire Department, Prospect Heights Fire Company, and the Upper Makefield Fire Company, conducted a training exercise at the Janssen Complex on Bear Tavern Road in Hopewell Township, NJ.

The drill was to practice establishing a water supply using tank trucks to feed various hose lines, a critical technique for firefighting in areas without access to public water systems.

More than 100 firefighters took part in this essential training exercise.
