The 47th Annual Pennington 5K will take place on the morning of Saturday, May 17, before Pennington Day festivities begin.
Organized by the Hopewell Valley YMCA and supported by the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, Registration for the race will begin at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Hopewell Valley Regional School District building at 425 S. Main Street. The race route will bring runners and walkers through several borough streets, including Green, Brookside, West Franklin, East Franklin, Eglantine, King George, Park, Abey, East Curlis, and South Main.
Residents along the race course are asked to watch for participants between 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. and are encouraged to come outside, cheer, or even register to run on race day.
