Get ready for Pennington Day on Saturday, May 18 from 10am to 4pm This day-long street fair, in downtown Pennington Borough, brings together local businesses, artisans, music, and food for the Hopewell Valley community. Pennington Day has been a staple in the community, held on the third Saturday in May since 1981.
This year, visitors can enjoy entertainment at two stages: the Crosswalks Main Stage at the corner of Curlis and Main and the North Stage at Howe Commons. Music, dancers, and other live entertainment will perform throughout the day.
As always, there will be a fabulous lineup of assorted street vendors and delicious food trucks the entire length of Main Street. For the first time, crafters and artisans will also be featured offering more handmade, homemade, and homegrown items.
Proceeds from vendor registration fees go directly to funding community grants to local organizations and is the heart of Pennington Day. Don’t miss the grant awards presentation at noon at the Main Stage that highlights valuable work being done local organizations.
Pennington Day’s beloved Quilt Show has had a venue change! The Quilt Show will be presented at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and will have many beautiful quilts on display.
The Kidz Zone, behind Toll Gate, will have exciting inflatables available for kids. The purchase of one wristband per child age 4 and older provides all-day access to the fun. Bracelets are already available for purchase online at https://www.penningtonday.org/kids-zone-presale/p/country-feast-set-3nybt-a8gef for pick up at the event!
Sponsorships are a critical part of operating Pennington Day! The organizers extend a huge thank you to new and returning sponsors. Please visit www.penningtonday.org for more information and to learn about the history of Pennington Day.
