Pennington Parks and Rec Hosts Labor Day Concert

by Andrea Fereshteh

Celebrate (or mourn) the end of summer with a free, classic rock and blues concert by The Tones at Howe Commons on Main Street in Pennington on Labor Day, Monday, September 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Created by a local father and daughter team for the Hopewell Valley Arts Council’s Stampede, Music B. Ox will be watching over the event. A painter and musician, Ron Balerno has lived in Pennington since 1995. He finds inspiration for his work from his life and nature. This love for the arts was passed down to his daughter Leah who also enjoys creating in multiple mediums, such as clay, glass, drawing and painting.

Ron Balerno also will be at the concert Monday night.
