Pennington Post Office reopens after run in with automobile

by Lynn S. Robbins

A car crashed into the side of the Pennington Post Office at 3pm on Friday, December 15, according to Pennington Police Chief Doug Pinelli.  Pinelli indicated that it was a single car incident involving the driver only. No passengers were in the car. The driver is a female, Pennington resident. She was attempting to park and hit the gas pedal by mistake. Damage was done to the front end of the driver’s car but there were no personal injuries.

Interim Pennington Borough Administrator Donato Nieman reported this morning that the post office has reopened to the public and will remain open.
