Pollinator Planter Walk in Hopewell Aug 24

by Community Contributor

The public is invited to a free Pollinator Planter Walk on Sunday, August 24th at 9:00AM. Sourland Conservancy Stewardship Interns, Kristen Falzon and Ellie DiBartolomeo, will introduce participants to the benefits of planting natives in containers–and maybe even collect and share some seeds!

This is a free event, and registration is not required. Participants should bring a water bottle, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable walking shoes. The group will meet at the gazebo at Hopewell Borough Park on South Greenwood Avenue in Hopewell Borough (next to the post office) and enjoy a leisurely stroll through town to visit the “Adopt-A-Garden” planters around town and the native plant garden at the Hopewell Public Library.

The Adopt-A-Garden planter project is made possible through the generous support of the Hopewell Borough Economic Development Committee, Downtown Hopewell, Hopewell Borough businesses, individuals, and families. The Pollinator Planter Walk is hosted by the Hopewell Public Library and Sourland Conservancy. For more information, email [email protected].
