PUBLIC NOTICE: Friends of Hopewell Quarry Applying for 2026 Funding Round NJ Green Acres Park Development Grant
Friends of Hopewell Quarry is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at The Hopewell Quarry located at 180 Crusher Road and Pennington-Hopewell Road.
PROJECT SCOPE: Friends of Hopewell Quarry proposes to create the following new facilities at The Hopewell Quarry: a new septic, water well, and bathroom facility as well as a water bottle filling station; and/or to renovate the following facilities: railing entrance to the Quarry. This application proposes tree removal. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found here:https://www.hopewellquarry.org/green-acres

HOPEWELL BOROUGH PLANNING BOARD
Please take notice in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 that the Hopewell Borough Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing on February 18, 2026 at 7:00 PM, at the Municipal Building, 88 East Broad Street, Hopewell Borough, NJ 08525. The purpose of the public hearing will be to accept public comments on the February 18, 2026, Amended Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan of the Master Plan. Formal action may or may not take place. The Amended Housing Plan Element and Fair Share Plan will be available for public inspection at Borough Hall or online at: www.hopewellboro-nj.us at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing.
