by Community Contributor

Mercer County alerts the public that routine realistic military training will be conducted at Trenton-Mercer Airport from June 3 through June 14. This operation will include air and ground mobility exercises, with a notable increase in rotary wing aircraft operations, some extending into the evening hours.

Residents and visitors near the airport may experience additional aircraft noise during this period. The U.S. military has meticulously planned the exercises to minimize community impact. Please note, the training sessions will not be open to the public or the media due to safety considerations.

Training Details:
Dates: June 3 through June 14
Location: Trenton-Mercer Airport, 1100 Terminal Circle Drive, Ewing, NJ 08628

The primary point of contact should now be the NJ State Police PIO, who can be reached at 609-960-4024. (Edited on 5/30/24)

Mercer County appreciates the community’s understanding and cooperation during these critical training operations, which are essential to ensuring the preparedness and effectiveness of our military forces.
