Milling and resurfacing work has begun on Lambertville-Hopewell Road/Louellen Street (County Route 518) from Van Dyke Road to West Broad Street in the Township/Borough of Hopewell. Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately fifteen (15) working days to complete, weather permitting, from the start day of May 29. Work will be completed between the hours of 9am and 3:00 pm, weekdays only.
During construction, one direction of travel will be maintained at all times. Eastbound motorists will be directed to use Van Dyke Road, Hopewell-Pennington Road and Louellen Street. Only westbound traffic will be permitted on Hopewell-Lambertville Road. Full, unrestricted access of Hopewell-Lambertville Road would be permitted during non-working hours.
