Rutgers Master Gardeners to Host “Evening in the Garden” July 16 in Pennington

The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County invite the public to attend “Evening in the Garden” on Wednesday, July 16, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Mercer Educational Gardens, located at 431A Federal City Road in Pennington.

The event will feature brief presentations on gardening topics including:

  • Planning an Annual Garden
  • Plant This, Not That
  • Designing and Planting Containers

Visitors can also explore a variety of demonstration gardens, including Annual, Butterfly, Cottage, Herb, Native Plant, and Perennial gardens. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions, along with Mercer County Horticulturist Justine Gray, who will provide insight into both plant care and the Rutgers Master Gardener program.

The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
