This past Saturday was Small Business Saturday and we were excited to host a guest post, “Reasons to Shop Local and Fall in Love with Shopping Small,” by local small business guru, Debbie Schaeffer owner of Mrs. G’s.

Saturday was a fantastic day to support local businesses and my family and I visited as many local shops as we could (with our 3 and 6 year olds) and we tweeted along the way. Check us out at We plan to do more local shopping this holiday season than last — we love our local businesses!
