SITE NEWS: Community Calendar

MercerMe is so excited to share that we are now featuring a “Community Calendar!”

We hope the calendar will provide an easy-to-use one-stop location to find local events happening in and around Mercer County.  You’ll find a link to the calendar at the top of – and a quick-access monthly view “widget” in the bottom right corner of the site.

The calendar is very customizable — you can even view upcoming events as a map to select events as near or far from you as you’d like!  By default, the calendar page shows upcoming events in a graphical/photo view — monthly, weekly and the map view can be accessed by clicking on the “view as” drop down menu from any view.

We’re happy to accept submissions for our calendar but please familiarize yourself with our policies. The Community Calendar is meant for community notices and announcements to highlight and inform individuals about upcoming community events that are charitable, educational, cultural or recreational and taking place in or around Mercer County. MercerMe also reserves the discretion to accept events that are newsworthy. If your non-commercial organization has an event that is appropriate for the MercerMe community calendar, please submit the details and a photo for consideration.
