Cyclists of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in the Sourland Spectacular, returning for its 15th year on Saturday, September 19th. The Sourland Conservancy annual event, hosted at The Watershed Institute (31 Titus Mill Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534), offers flexible starts between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m., allowing riders to complete their route in time for lunch. All routes begin and end at The Watershed Institute, winding through the forests and farmland of the historic Sourlands.
Participants can choose from four routes of increasing distance to match their skill level, from a family-friendly ride to a longer, more challenging option for experienced cyclists. Route details will be announced soon.
Riders can also opt to be sponsored for their ride. Those who raise $300 or more in sponsorship donations will receive their choice of one of three custom Yeti mugs, and the top individual fundraiser will win a basket of Sourland goodies. Learn more at https://sourlandspectacular.com/fundraising.
The registration fee includes a light breakfast and coffee; lunch (11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) with one beverage ticket; ice cream sundaes and brownies for dessert; snacks along the route; and a swag item.
