After about a three-month renovation, the Starbucks on Denow Road in the Stop & Shop Plaza reopened its doors yesterday, welcoming back customers who all seemed excited to see the improvements and to be able to get their favorite drinks again.

Manager Sean Coffey said both staff and patrons were excited about the refreshed space, which includes an updated work area designed to improve efficiency. Employees have been trained on the new equipment, and Coffey expressed enthusiasm about the changes.
“We’re thrilled to have this space open again,” Coffey said. “The new setup makes everything more advanced and streamlined for both our team and our customers.”

In the coming days and weeks there will be more artwork on the walls and some other finishing touches that will be done. None of those improvements should impact the stores hours.
Meanwhile, further north on Route 31, work continues on the new Starbucks location in the former TD Bank building. On Tuesday, crews were installing signage and putting the finishing touches on the exterior, with painting and other preparations underway. The new store is expected to open later this month.

Coffey said the addition of a second location in Pennington will offer customers more of a café atmosphere and another convenient spot to grab their favorite Starbucks beverages.
While the Starbucks locations have been closed, employees have been getting trained and working at other locations. With each store employing about 20 people, Starbucks is often hiring, and you can apply at the Starbucks corporate website.
