Now in its 78th year, the Titusville 4th of July Parade is an institution in the Hopewell Valley, epitomizing patriotic, small-town America.
As always, the 2023 parade will be a celebration of our community’s spirit and traditions. It will include a big parade, baby parade, and bike parade, all of which will showcase the talents and creativity of our local residents. Additionally, there will be a quoits tournament for those who love a friendly competition, and plenty of birch beer floats to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.
To subsidize the celebration, each year, the community holds a BYOB dinner fundraiser at the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad Banquet Hall. Almost as fun as the parade itself, the dinner includes a buffet, musical entertainment, a raffle, and a 50/50 contest. All proceeds support the Titusville 4th of July Parade. And you don’t have to be a River Rat to participate in the fun!
Come early in the day to pick up great deals at the annual yard sale, which also supports the parade. The yard sale starts at 8am and is usually done by 1pm. The dinner is 5:30-9pm.
Please come to Titusville May 6 for great finds, food, and fun and a way to demonstrate your community spirit. And then come back again in July for the parade!
