Threat to Ewing schools; extra precautions in HVRSD today

The following message was sent to HVRSD families this morning:

Dear Hopewell Community,

We received a message from local law enforcement that Ewing Public Schools are closed today due to a possible threat to their buildings Ewing School officials have decided to cancel classes out of an abundance of caution. 
Due to our proximity to Ewing Public School, we are having an increased police presence at our schools today. This is just an extra precaution. We have been ensured that we are not a target of this threat. As always, we thank the Hopewell Township and Pennington Police Department for their vigilance and support.
