Trail & Treat Returns to the Lawrence Hopewell Trail

by Community Contributor

Prepare your costumes for a spooktacular bike ride at the Lawrence Hopewell Trail’s annual Trail & Treat on Sunday, October 26th from 3 to 5pm in Village Park in Lawrenceville!

Designed especially for kids ages 2-12, Trail & Treat invites children and families to celebrate Halloween a little early with a bike ride along the LHT, trick-or-treat style. Young riders and walkers collect treats along two festive routes:

  • A one-mile, candy-filled ride for children six and older
  • A quarter-mile loop perfect for children under six to collect their treats

Children and parents are encouraged to dress in costume, decorate their bikes, and join in the fun. Scooters, skates, and strollers are welcome. Families can also enjoy face painting, crafts, and music.

Tickets: $10 per child. Parents are required to supervise children at all times and helmets are mandatory for all riders per New Jersey law.

Pre-register at https://lhtrail.org/trailandtreat/. Day-of registration will be available, space-permitting.

Please note: There is no rain date for this event. Updates will be posted at www.lhtrail.org after noon on October 26th and registered participants will be notified by email. For all other questions, email [email protected].
