World Trade Center Steel on Display at Hopewell Library

by Mike Chipowsky

On the morning of September 11, a piece of steel that was recovered from the ruins of the World Trade Center was moved to the Hopewell Branch of the Mercer County Library on Pennington-Titusville. Following an outdoor ceremony, the steel was moved inside the library where it will be displayed for the next year.

The steel was gifted to the Hopewell Valley September 11th and Emergency Services Memorial Committee by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
