In the name of good sportsmanship, one charitable organization helps another

by Community Contributor

On Friday February 9, supporters of The OSIP Foundation (Outstanding Sportsmanship is Paramount) donated a television to HomeFront as a demonstration of support in HomeFront’s mission to help families experiencing homelessness and the effects of poverty.

Background: The OSIP Foundation hosted a trivia fundraising event where the winning team won a 43” LG television. The team, known as Better Than Blank, decided to pay-it-forward and donate the TV to HomeFront in the name of The OSIP Foundation.

HomeFront NJ provides emergency housing, food, clothing, job training, and life skills to families experiencing homelessness as well as prevention and emergency services to families at risk of becoming homeless. https://www.homefrontnj.org

The OSIP Foundation (Outstanding Sportsmanship is Paramount) promotes good sportsmanship through educational workshops and support to sporting programs as well as provide financial aid and assistance to those affected by acts of aggression due to poor sportsmanship and/or fanship. https://www.osipfoundation.org
