Police Investigating “Gun Shots,” Bullet Casings Reported Near Taylor Terrace

by Community Contributor

On Thursday November 14, in the early morning hours—approximately 3:00 a.m.—Hopewell Township Police Officers responded to the area of Taylor Terrace for a report of several loud bangs. A resident called and reported hearing what they thought were gun shots.

The first responding officer arrived within a minute and was unable to locate the source of the sounds or any disturbance. Later that morning at approximately 8:40 am, officers were detailed back to the same area of Taylor Terrace, where a passerby located bullet casings. A search of the area revealed several more bullet casings in the roadway, which appear to have been discharged by a handgun.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with any information is encouraged to reach out to Officer Christopher Vaccarino by calling 609-737-3100 x5480, sending email to [email protected] or to the Tip Line [email protected].
