Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello, in partnership with Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, will host a Passport Outreach Event on Thursday, March 26, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Monument Hall in Princeton. The last appointment will be scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

The event will take place at 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, and offers residents a convenient opportunity to apply for a new passport, renew an expired passport, obtain passport photos, or apply for a passport card — all in one location.
Applicants should bring a valid driver’s license along with a government-issued birth certificate or previous passport. Two checks or money orders are required for payment, as cash cannot be accepted. For children under age 16, both parents must be present.
Passport fees payable to the U.S. Department of State are:
- Adult passport: $130
- Adult passport card: $30
- Passport for children under 16: $100
- Minor passport card: $15
- Expedited processing: additional $60 (processing time 2–3 weeks)
An additional $35 Mercer County processing fee applies to each application.
Additional fees payable to the Mercer County Clerk’s Office include:
- Passport processing fee: $35
- Adult passport photo: $15
- Minor or senior citizen passport photo: $10
To help ensure a smooth experience, applicants are encouraged to complete the DS-11 Passport Application form in advance, available on the U.S. Department of State website.
