Women’s History month celebrated with women’s financial empowerment talk

by Amie Rukenstein

Uma Purandare is inviting the community to participate an event at Mercer County Library – Hopewell Branch, March 22, to recognize International Women’s Day and Women’s History month.

She explained: “I have asked Jodi Viaud from Knox Financial to discuss the Financial Empowerment for Women; she will talk about tools and steps to achieve individual goals. Financial empowerment, especially for women and young girls gives a power to voice their opinion, which is important to build equality. These skills can be beneficial for women and girls to build stronger families and stronger communities.”

Purandare is a Hopewell Township Committee member.
