As Easter approaches, the Hopewell Valley is alive with springtime spirit — from egg hunts and craft fairs to sunrise services and community meals, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate. Below is a roundup of many of the events and activities happening throughout the area over the next week, offering something for every age, tradition, and interest.

Friday, April 11

If you are looking for things for kids to do that involve getting outside, The Watershed Institute has things on the calendar. 

9:00am – 4:00pm

Spring mini-camp. Hiking, playing, observing springtime plant growth.

8:00pm – 9:30pm

Frog Slog. Hear spring peepers and explore vernal pools. Registration required.

Hopewell Borough Community Egg Hunt.

Pennington Community Egg Hunt.

Henhouse visits. Find and keep an egg from nesting boxes!

Howell Living History Farm, 70 Woodens Lane, Lambertville.

10:00am – 2:00pm

Trenton Cyrus Lodge #5 hosts egg hunts every hour on the hour, last hunt 1:30pm. Coffee, donuts and snacks, photos w/ the Easter Bunny. Suggested donation $15/child.
