On Thursday, September 4, 2025, 7pm, join the Pennington Environmental Commission for a virtual Community Conversations: Greenscaping – Easy Ways to a Greener, Healthier Yard.
Curious about turning part of your lawn into a meadow or pollinator garden? Want to learn which native plants thrive in Pennington and Hopewell Valley (while standing up to deer)? The Pennington Environmental Commission’s second Community Conversations event will take place on September 4 at 7 pm. This will be a virtual event, where practical, beautiful ways to “greenscape” your home will be explored.
The speakers, Mike Van Clef (FOHVOS Stewardship Director) and Samantha Bean (nature writer and native plant advocate), will share the why and the how of greenscaping – and there will be time for questions and comments.
Zoom details will be posted on the Borough website’s Meeting Calendar. The Pennington Environmental Commission hopes you’ll join and share your ideas!
