Hopewell Borough Planning Board meets, briefly

At its meeting February 9, the Hopewell Borough Planning Board accepted an application for the redevelopment of the Lumber Yard on Model Avenue. The hearing is rescheduled for the April 7 meeting at the request of the applicant, Henry Wittman. Townhomes will be constructed on the property. Some units will be offered as a traditional sale, while other units will be rented as part of the affordable housing program. Complete details of the project will be presented at the hearing for the redevelopment.

The Board approved a motion for homeowner Dave Reynolds of 8 Ege Ave to replace existing windows with Marvin Replacement windows. The replacement windows will match the six panel style of the old windows, the attic window will be larger, and the frames of the windows will remain.

Council member Jackie Perri said the short length of the meeting may have set a record.
