The 11th annual Hopewell Tour Des Arts, a self-guided tour of artists’ studios in Hopewell Township and Hopewell Borough, will take place on Saturday September 29 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, 30 from 11am to 4pm.
Tour des Arts event started in 2009 by Beth Judge, a fine jewelry designer, Ruth Morpeth gallery owner, and Sean Mannix, an industrial designer and owner of Highland Design Farm.
“The Tour des Arts remains in the vanguard of the growing list of cultural attractions which make our Township a rich reservoir of artistic awareness and has become a popular fall weekend event for the community, visitors from all over the region as well as neighboring Pennsylvania and New York,” shared event organizer Sean Mannix.
The self-guided tour begins at the Hopewell Train Station, 2 Railroad Place, where visitors will see a sampling of all the artists and pick up a map to visit individual studios, galleries and workshops in and around Hopewell Borough. Map and list are also included below.
This year, artists include sculptures, goldsmiths, photographers, musicians, a performance artist, wood turners, painters, filmmakers, a metallurgist, and a collagist.
