Hopewell Valley Celebrates Fourth of July with Concerts, Parades, and Fireworks

As Hopewell Valley gears up for Independence Day festivities, the community if full of an array of patriotic celebrations. From concerts to car shows, there’s something for everyone in the Valley this Fourth of July. Whether you’re looking to kick back with a movie under the stars or cheer on a vibrant parade, Hopewell Valley offers a host of activities to mark America’s birthday.

Music + Movies in the Park: On Friday, June 28, the Hopewell Valley Arts Council will host a free concert at the new bandshell in Woolsey Park, featuring Grant Peterson and Friends from 6:30 to 8:45pm. Following the concert, at sunset, enjoy the fireworks-themed documentary, Passfire, which explores global fireworks traditions. Don’t forget your picnic dinner, chair, or blanket! Hopewell Valley Veterans Association Hosts Car Show and Fireworks Display: The Hopewell Valley Veterans Association invites you to their annual car show, band concert, and fireworks display on Saturday, June 29, at Woolsey Park. Festivities start at 4pm. This event promises a fun evening filled with family-friendly entertainment and brilliant pyrotechnics.

Titusville 4th of July Parade: Join Titusville to celebrate the Old Guard River Rats on Thursday, July 4, for a day-long celebration featuring a parade with various themed floats, a baby and bike parade, and a quoits tournament. The festivities kick off at 10am with music by The River Dogs, followed by opening ceremonies at 11am. Enjoy birch beer floats and soak in the local traditions that make Hopewell Valley unique.
