Large Brush Fire on Cherry Valley Road

A large brush fire on residential property on Cherry Valley Road in Hopewell Township required multiple emergency units to extinguish the fire today.

According to Hopewell Valley Emergency Services Chief Matthew Martin, the fire was extinguished quickly. Responding agencies included Hopewell Fire Department, Pennington Fire Department, Hopewell Valley Emergency Services, and Hopewell Township Police Department; it was overseen by Union Fire Company’s Chief Kurt Pedersen.
