Lighter Thief Sparks Police Investigation in Hopewell Township


    On April 14, 2016 at around 10am, Hopewell Township Officer Christopher Vaccarino was detailed to the Stop-N-Shop on Denow Road on the report of a shoplifter.

    e-N-Shop security reported that an unknown white male in his 20’s, 6’0 tall, wearing a black baseball hat and puffy black jacket with a blue hoody stole approximately $57.00 dollars’ worth of lighters from the store.  He was last seen running on foot behind the complex. 

    The individual is also a suspect in 3 other similar thefts that occurred this month at the store. The total value stolen is approximately $1,100.00.
