LTE: HomeFront’s ArtJam Postponed until October

by Community Contributor

To the Editor:

After much consideration the HomeFront and ArtJam leadership teams have decided to postpone the 2020 ArtJam until October 15-25, 2020. We came to this regretful decision because we want to be considerate of the whole community in staying safe and healthy during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last ten years, ArtJam has been a successful fundraiser – bringing undiscovered and professional art works to the Princeton community in a fun and exciting pop-up gallery. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the support of our donors, our art buyers, our volunteers and the entire community during the last decade and this year.

The funds we raise support ArtSpace, a therapeutic art program for the homeless families at HomeFront. ArtSpace, like all HomeFront’s programs, work toward supporting families in their journey and encouraging a vision of hope for a better future.

At this time, we’d like to ask for your thoughts and prayers for HomeFront’s families as the current situation is particularly challenging for those who are already stressed by poverty. The need to support HomeFront will be even greater than ever, and we appreciate the community’s efforts to rally around our families. Above all, HomeFront strives to be a strong voice of calm and a place of hope for our families. For more information on how you can help our families, please visit www.homefrontnj.org.

Stay tuned to this website www.artjamnj.org and to our social media channels as ArtJam will continue to share our plans for our even better pop-up gallery in the fall!

Warmest regards,

Ruthann Traylor
HomeFront ArtSpace Director
