The Hopewell Public Library has a month full of activities for everyone. Check out what’s going on for November!

Creative Aging: Pencil Painting – Session 4 of 6 – Karen McLean’s Studio (14 Mercer St, Hopewell, NJ 08525)
Wednesday, November 2, 2-3:30pm

Weekly classes with local artist & teacher Karen McLean in her studio in Hopewell. We will learn to draw with pencil and hopefully exhibit our work to each other after Thanksgiving! Sessions limited to 8 participants. Register for the wait list at www.redlibrary.org/events.

Wednesday Night Out: Hoproco with Doug Dixon – Hopewell Theater
Wednesday, November 2, 6:45-8:30pm

Yes, Hopewell did have a toy company, albeit a short-lived one. Hoproco, the Hopewell Products company, operated from 1923 to 1929 on Burton Avenue. In this presentation, Doug Dixon will explore the history of Hoproco and the five known toys that the company created. Plus, come early to see some of their actual antique toys exhibited!
