To the Editor:
We support Sue Altman for Congress in CD-12. She is far from a one-issue candidate; rather, she brings over a decade of experience as an organizer fighting powerful people on the issues we care about most: taking on corruption in both parties; getting big money out of politics; defending our democracy; and fighting for working families, labor, healthcare, and human rights. Her linking the rigged economy with the control by the current anti-democratic forces in the Administration and huge corporations makes sense. We need Sue in Congress to pass Medicare for All, abolish ICE, and unrig our economy from the rampant corruption of Trump and his billionaire cronies.
While other Democratic candidates may espouse similar policies, Sue alone has the skillset, focus, and energy to hit the ground running in January and pave the way for a fairer and stronger democracy. Sue Altman will be the effective leader CD-12 needs in Congress.
