New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher Monday recognized Terhune Orchards and the Mount family of Mercer County as the winning farm participating in the first Jersey Fresh Farm to School Farmer Recognition Award. The presentation took place during the celebration of the 8th annual Jersey Fresh Farm to School Week being held September 24-28.

On September 10, Lawrenceville School Head Master Steve Murray was pleased to present $65,000, the School’s annual donation, to the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF). Since 1995, the School has donated a total of $1,505 000 to LTEF. Lawrenceville also provides event sponsorship and numerous in-kind services, including office space.
