Shop-Rite employee accused of stealing items worth $3000
Officer Arthur Juba was detailed to Shop-Rite on Pennington Road for a theft complaint on September 6, 2022. The complainant reported a named employee stole multiple items from the store during his shift. The value of the items taken was estimated at approximately $3,000. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. They were later turned over to the Trenton Police department for an outstanding warrant. The cases will be heard in Superior Court.Ā Ā
Cash removed from business register on RT 31
Officer Michael Crincoli was detailed to a N. Route 31 business for a reported burglary/theft investigation on September 6, 2022. The complainant reported that sometime between September 5 and 6, an unknown individual(s) forcibly entered their business and removed cash from the register. The amount of cash removed was approximately $350. Investigation is ongoing.
Clock stolen from building in Hopewell Borough
Officer Robert Voorhees was detailed to an E. Broad Street Hopewell Borough address for a theft complaint on September 9, 2022. The complainant reported that an unknown individual(s) accessed their property and removed a clock from the front of the building. The clock was valued at approximately $1,200. Investigation is ongoing.
Fake apartment rental leads to fraudulent fees
Officer Pauciullo was detailed to the Hopewell Township Police Department for a fraud complaint.Ā The complainant reported they transferred $500 through their bank account for an application fee on an apartment rental. The apartment was advertised online and it was later learned to be a fraudulent listing. The investigation is ongoing.
Counterfeit bills used at local Stop and Shop
Officer Joseph McNeil was detailed to the Stop and Shop on Denow Road for a theft/fraud complaint on September 14, 2022. The complainant reported an unknown male entered the store on September 11 and 12 and purchased multiple items with counterfeit currency. The investigation is ongoing.
Residence burglarized on Harbourton Ridge Drive
Officer Blake Demeter was detailed to a Harbourton Ridge Drive address for a reported burglary/theft of a residence on September 17, 2022. The complainant reported that sometime between August 31 and September 17, an unknown individual(s) forcibly entered their residence and stole property. The value of the items removed was approximately $500. Investigation is ongoing.
