There are two weekends left to explore New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history at Howell Living History Farm’s annual corn maze.
The 2026 “Crossroads of the Revolution” corn maze transforms a three-acre cornfield into a map of New Jersey’s role in the American Revolution, featuring winding pathways inspired by historic battlefields, skirmishes and other events from the fight for independence.
Along the way, visitors answer questions using a game board and collect puzzle pieces to assemble a map that helps guide them through the maze.
The final weekends are Oct. 30-Nov. 1 and Nov. 7-8, with hours from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays, noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
This year’s maze also celebrates 30 years of corn maze productions at Howell Farm. An exhibit of 15 original paintings by Lawrence-based artist Pat Pasquito, who has created the maze’s entrance signs since 2001, is on display in the maze courtyard.
Visitors can meet Pasquito during a special artist reception Sunday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 3 p.m. The former billboard painter will discuss his career and the creative process behind the farm’s themed signs.
The corn maze is located at 17 Valley Road, Lambertville, approximately one mile east of Howell Farm’s historic site at 70 Woodens Lane.
Admission is $15 for ages 13 and older, $12 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and younger.
