First Friday in Hopewell: Weather Pushes Cruise Night to June 3

by Ryan Kennedy

The Hopewell Borough Economic Development Committee, with an eye on the upcoming rainy forecast, announced today that the Borough’s Spring Cruise Night festivities originally scheduled for May 6 would be postponed to June 3 to coincide with the next of the town’s series of First Friday events.  Owners of classic rides, whips and hot rods are invited to celebrate First Friday in Hopewell on June 3rd – and again as the Fall Cruise night on October 7 rounds out the season of special events, shopping and dining in town on the first Friday night of every month.  Jointly organized by the town’s Economic Development and the 125th Anniversary committees, the First Friday initiative is designed to highlight the local business and arts venues in the Borough through coordinated shopping/dining hours, advertising and special promotions.

The event organizers added: don’t let the weather stop you, Hopewell Borough is very much open for business, rain or shine! Packed with top notch restaurants, arts venues, antiques and retail shopping, downtown Hopewell Borough has something for everyone every First Friday… and every day in between.
