Harvest Moon Draws Hundreds to Lawrence Hopewell Trail’s 3rd Annual Full Moon Bike Ride (PHOTOS)

by MercerMe Staff

Early evening clouds didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of some 400-plus bicyclists who participated in the third annual Full Moon ride, co-sponsored by the Lawrence Hopewell Trail and the Mercer County Park Commission on Saturday night, September 17. By the time riders had cycled through six miles of meadows and woodlands at Mercer Meadows, the clouds had parted and a full harvest moon provided natural light for a great ending at Rosedale Lake.

LHT board members and volunteers greet cyclists and help them register and pick up t-shirts during the Full Moon Ride.
A very creative cyclist rides along the LHT's path through Mercer Meadows.
