In the meantime, according to acting Township administrator George Snyder, the Township recently hired a community development coordinator, Ann Bell, who, he said, has several years experience in planning and zoning issues.

Snyder also said that Herbert (Herb) J. Seeburger Jr., a principal with Van Cleef Engineering Associates, will be acting as Township engineer until the community development director / engineer position is filled. That temporary appointment was approved by Resolution June 14, 2021.

The municipal offices for the Township remain closed to the public; however, Snyder said the employees returned to their seats in the building in May. He is working with Township Health Department director, Dawn Marling, to determine the target date of reopening the building entirely, expected in the coming weeks.
