The Hopewell Valley Central High School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will host the third annual Hopewell Valley Bulldog 5K on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hopewell Valley Central High School. This year’s event, themed around the first day of spring, has been named the Bulldog Blossom 5K Run and will include, for the first time, a 1-mile Fun Run.
Registration and bib pickup will begin at 8 a.m., with the 1-mile Fun Run starting at 8:45 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. The event provides a fun way for the community to welcome spring while supporting fundraising efforts for the Classes of 2026 and 2027.
For more than 25 years, parent volunteers, in cooperation with the PTO, school administrators, and the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance, have organized senior year events, including Senior Sunrise, Senior Sunset, and various Senior Week activities. These events are funded entirely through the support of parents, local businesses, and community organizations.
The first 200 participants to register will receive a race shirt, and up to 275 registrants will receive canteen bottles. Awards will be given to the top teacher or administrator, as well as the winning black or gold team from Hopewell Valley Central High School, with a $500 donation to the designated team. All registrants may select a black or gold affiliation. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in each age group by gender.
The Hopewell Valley Bulldog 5K, now in its third year, aims to bring students, families, and community members together for a fun and inclusive event that gives back to the school. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate.
