The Hopewell Valley Central High School Bulldogs continued their winning ways in athletic contests this week, highlighted by big wins on the wrestling mat and on the ice. Check out the highlights below:
January 16:
- Boys swimming took home the meet against Steinert by a final tally of 121-43.
- HVCHS girls swimming was dominant in the Steinert pool tool, racking up a 125-49 drubbing in the dual meet.
January 21:
- The Bulldogs’ winning ways continued on the wrestling mat this week, as the boys’ squad rolled over Robbinsville 44-22. Gavin Baker and John Trainer from Hopewell Valley pinned their opponents to end off the match. Hopewell gets its 14th win in a row going into the conference tournament next week.
- In girls’ basketball action, the Bulldogs defeated West Windsor-Plainsboro 38-31.
- HVCHS downed WW-PS in the boys’ basketball game too, tallying 61 points to the home team’s 36.
January 22:
- On the ice, HVCHS took a 3-1 victory over Princeton. The Hopewell Valley ice hockey team is coming off an amazing performance. Logan Camilleri scored one goal and James Thomas had one assist to lead Hopewell to the win. This one was their fifth win in a row as they continue dominating the CVC.
