Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri will meet with the Hopewell Township Committee on Tuesday, June 30, at 5:30pm. He will present an overview of use of force and police reforms being implemented by NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal. Onofri will take questions from the Committee and residents after his presentation.

Editor’s note: Onofri was appointed by Governor Christie and unanimously confirmed by the NJ Senate as Mercer County Prosecutor in 2016. He had served as acting prosecutor since March 2015. Onofri graduated from Rutgers University’s Eagleton Institute of Politics and Villanova University Law School. Earlier this year he was named president of the County Prosecutors Association of New Jersey and received the 2020 Advocacy Champion Award from theĀ New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. He is vice chairman of theĀ State Commission on Human Trafficking.
