To the Editor:
I was delighted to read Jaziya McDonald’s August 10, 2026, MercerMe feature on Whispering Pines Bookstore. On opening day, I found more treasures than I intended and returned again on the bookstore’s second day in business. There I picked up Reading Journal: A Book to Record Book Reviews and Reading Details, which will be a gift for an avid reader who, at just two and a half years old, already loves books. I wish Whispering Pines every success.
