William H Walker II, 69, of Hopewell New Jersey passed peacefully surrounded by his family on September 29, 2024.
Born in Trenton, Bill lived most of his life in Hopewell and was a 1972 graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School. He was a jack of all trades and lived many lives, making countless lifelong friends along the way.
He was dedicated to his community, which he loved. Bill was a life member of the Hopewell Fire Department, for over 54 years as well as serving as a Fire Commissioner for both the Borough and the Township.
A long time member of Princeton Elks Lodge #2129, as well as the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and the Hopewell Open.
An avid dirt track race fan, Bill got his hands dirty whenever he could on the several pit crews of which he was a part of. His explosive side was enjoyed in the tristate area, for all the years he led his fireworks crew. Bill was a rabid New Yorks Jets fan.
Bill was the son of the late William H Walker and Helen Ludeke Walker. Predeceased by his sister in law, Doretta, many beloved aunts, uncles, his In-laws Alstyn and Sarah Hart, as well as his “Cousin” Bruce Bradley.
Bills’ strong willed personality will be lovingly remembered by his family. He leaves behind his dedicated wife of 33 years, Donna. Their children, Sean (Erin), Billy (Jackie), Ali (Kris), along with his cherished grandchildren, Isabel, Mason, Peyton, and Bubby, will miss him and his shenanigans immensely. His loving brother, Greg (Barbara) and his children Daniele (Quincy)and Gregory, along with many other family members and friends.
