Mercer County Library System (MCLS) invites the community to celebrate creativity and talent at a reception for the 2025 Amateur Photo Contest on Tuesday, October 14 at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at the Hickory Corner Branch of the Mercer County Library System and is free and open to the public.
This year’s contest, themed “Our Vibrant World”, drew close to 200 submissions from photographers of all ages and skill levels across the community. The reception will showcase the inspiring entries, announce contest winners, and provide an opportunity to meet the photographers behind the work.
“Mercer County is fortunate to have so many creative and talented residents,” said County Executive Dan Benson. “The photography competition is a great chance to look through our residents’ eyes and see what inspires them.”
Light refreshments will be served, and attendees are encouraged to view the full exhibit of entries, which will remain on display at the library through October 23 during regular library hours. (Please note – the exhibit may not be available to view during scheduled events. Call the branch to verify.) The Hickory Corner Branch is located at 138 Hickory Corner Rd, East Windsor, NJ 08520.
