Changes at Former Sunoco Station in Hopewell Boro

by Mary Galioto

Driving past the former Sunoco Service Station located at 40 East Broad Street on the corner of East Broad and Hamilton, it is apparent from all the construction and paving activity that something is going on. And, as you’ve come to expect, MercerMe has the scoop for you.

The property owned by “Brick Farm Creamery, LLC,” just a block away from The Brick Farm Market on East Broad, will be divided into three separate sections: two retail stores and one office to be used by an architect.

While the Brick Farm Market will not be using the retail space at this property, they are expanding their options at their 65 East Broad Street

“We are going to be using the space for retail businesses,” said owner Robin McCoughany, “As for BFM, we will continue to offer the most sustainable, nutritious and local foods possible. Look for more events (market dinners, cheese classes) in our incoming schedule under ‘Events’, as well as a band on Halloween and fun happenings for Thanksgiving turkey pickup and the holidays.”

MercerMe is happy to report about new businesses and changes in the area. If you have some information, send us your tip!
