Chief Tunnicliffe awarded for valor

At the recent Union Fire Company Annual Membership Dinner, Deputy Chief William “Buddy” Tunnicliffe Jr was awarded the Department’s Award for Valor. Chief Tunnicliffe received the award for his actions on January 13 when he placed himself in harm’s way to help rescue a woman who had fallen through the ice at Rosedale Lake.
