To the Editor:
Explorations is an all volunteer organization offering daytime learning experiences in the fall and the spring for seniors from the Hopewell Valley and nearby communities. Now in its tenth year, Explorations needs to grow to meet demand, and that means we need more teachers. And that’s where we need your help. Have you taught a course or wish to teach a course for truly interested seniors? Or maybe you know someone else who would like to do that? All suggested topics, and we truly mean that, will be seriously considered.
The semester begins on October 8th and runs for six weeks finishing before Thanksgiving. Each class runs for two hours. Courses are held in the Pennington Presbyterian Church. Explorations is underwritten by the Hopewell Valley Senior Foundation and sponsored by Hopewell Valley Senior Services. Won’t you join our teaching staff when we begin our eleventh year this fall? We need to hear from you now for planning purposes. Contact Larry Mansier at 609-737-0863 or mansier@comcast.net

“Have you taught a course or wish to teach a course for truly interested seniors?”
I’m sure I can find someone, among the many people I meet.
Perhaps, we might get Lawrence Rosen to teach a course on “oppressive symbolism”?
These are people who very much want to be in the course.
I’ll start asking tomorrow!
