The Hopewell Borough Planning Board is required by State Law to review its Master Plan at least every ten years. This year, the Board will be undertaking a process called “Re-examination”; a key component of the Master Plan Reexamination is engaging with the public and capturing as much input as possible to guide the Borough’s vision for the next decade and beyond.
The Planning Board invites all members of the public to participate in an ongoing dialogue to assure the Plan is informed by diverse voices. Questions, comments, criticisms, and new ideas are all welcomed, and indeed, encouraged.
Chair of the Planning Board Peter Macholdt said: “Though our meetings this year need to be via Zoom, and we will miss the in-person contact, the fact that we can allow residents to participate from their homes may provide greater opportunity for outreach in this important endeavor. We also plan to record the meetings where our professionals will be explaining planning concepts – sort of a Master Plan 101 – and they will be available on the Borough website for people to review at their convenience.”
The first of what is intended to be a series of informative meeting is scheduled for Wednesday January 27, at 7:00pm, and can be accessed at the following Zoom link:
